COHANSEY SOCCER CLUB

Program Information

Hello Everyone,

We hope that you are doing well and are adjusted to the new school year. Our Cohansey Futures' (Recreational Soccer) season starts next week! We are excited to bring the players a fun and educational experience this coming year. This program is focused on learning the fundamentalsof the sport, building character, and of course having fun! Our coaches are prepared to deliver sessions for this fall season as well as build relationships with the players.

Things to expect
This year's training is an 8 week program that will focus on technicaland match understanding. This is not a competitive league. Each player will have the opportunity to develop and become educated on the basic principles of soccer. Our coaches are there to help players prepare for the first steps of this sport and the entry level of our player pathway. Training will be one hour sessions once a week with games on the weekend. The games will be on Saturdays which will allow players more freedom to express themselves. Once again, this is not a league. Players will be divided into teams and play together on the weekend within the program.

Communication
You will be receiving emails weekly at the beginning of the week, your evening of training, and the night before/day of games. Communication will be sent through email and on our social media accounts. Please be sure to add this email address to your contacts so that you will always receive important information. Volunteers
We are actively seeking volunteers to help with our program. Volunteers who will help with game day organization (substitutions, handing out pinnies, etc.) and group leaders. If you are interested send an email to[email protected].

What's next?
This program is the entry level of our player pathway at Cohansey. The program will just be an understanding of the sport and ensuring that players are having fun. Cohansey Futures is level one of a multi layer club. For players who continue to express interest in their development at a higher level Cohansey offers programs outside of recreationalsoccer. The pathway continues with Pre-Travel, Travel, and Premier. The Premier program allows players the opportunity to train with our professional coaches and take full advantage of our affiliate programs. These affiliateprograms include training with Philadelphia Union (MLS) Coaches at our younger age groups and Ocean City Nor'easters (USL) opportunities for our high school age players.

We cannot wait to get to work with you this upcoming season. If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you again and see you soon!
